The Vermont Journal of Environmental Law was founded in 1996 with support from Vermont Law and Graduate School’s Environmental Law Center, with a mission to provide an accessible forum to discuss contemporary environmental legal issues. VJEL is a student-run organization that publishes articles and other environmental scholarship on topics in the environmental field quarterly and regularly on our blogs. VJEL has adopted a broad view of the environmental field and is interested in environmental matters at the local, state, federal, and international levels.
